Goat Willow Studio
Nestled in the heart of Tweedbank, Goat Willow pottery is a cozy, community-focused pottery studio where creativity and craftsmanship meet. Whether you're a beginner exploring the art of pottery for the first time or an experienced artisan looking for a space to hone your skills, our studio offers the perfect environment to create, learn, and connect.
Our studio was born from a passion for clay and a desire to share the therapeutic, rewarding process of pottery with others. Founded by Sue Barclay, our studio has grown into a welcoming space where art comes to life. From the hum of the wheel to the quiet moments of glazing, every corner of our studio tells a story of dedication to the craft.
Our mission is simple: to foster creativity, build community, and celebrate the beauty of handmade pottery. We believe that the tactile nature of clay allows for personal expression and a deeper connection to the materials we work with, and we’re here to guide you every step of the way.
Studio Opening Times
The opening times are dependent on when the classes run. Once you’ve decided on your course, take note of the time. You can arrive a little earlier to get ready and prepare. You’ll have access to our equipment, tools, and a helpful, supportive community of fellow potters. Whether you need individual instruction or want to create with others, the studio is here for you.
